Immunopharmacology Comments
The OX40-OX40 ligand interaction is a co-stimulatory immune checkpoint between T cells and antigen presenting (dendritic) cells [2]. Inhibiting this checkpoint blocks activation of T cell effector functions, and is proposed for anti-inflammatory potential in conditions where type 2 immune responses are deranged (e.g. atopic dermatitis).
