Bioactivity Comments
In obese men, higher secretion of CCL7 by adipocytes promotes extraprostatic migration of prostate cancer cells, and obesity is associated with aggressive forms of the disease. In a mouse model, inhibition of the CCL7/CCR3 axis by UCB35625 abrogates this migration of prostate cancer cells, indicating the potential benefit of using CCR3 antagonists in the treatment of prostate cancer [1].
