Immunopharmacology Comments |
This is the ligand binding subunit of the functional IL-7 receptor complex. Effimmune are developing anti-IL7Rα monoclonal antibodies (e.g. OSE-127 [3]) with the objective of suppressing inflammation in T cell-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases. This team have reported that anti-IL7Rα monoclonals with exclusively antagonistic activity are efficacious in a non-human primate chronic skin inflammation model, and that the response is characterised by a sustained blunting of antigen-specific memory T cell activity [1]. |
