| In vivo studies have shown that laquinimod inhibits development and relapses of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and neuritis, which are used as animal models of MS [1,4,6]. In a mouse model of acute AEA, laquinimod showed a dose-dependent inhibition of clinical disease score, reaching 100% inhibition at 5(mg/kg)/day [4]. |
