Endogenous peptide in human, mouse or rat
Comment: This is the mature peptide (minus signal peptide) translated from the human JAG2 gene. It is 1215 amino acids long, with a single-pass transmembrane domain. Jagged2 is an endogenous canonical NOTCH receptor ligand [2,5], from the family that includes the three delta-like (DLL) ligands DLL1, 2 and 4 and Jagged1 and 2 [1].
Targeting Jagged2-mediated NOTCH signalling using an anti-Jagged2 antibody activates macrophage-mediated anti-tumour immunity in lung cancer models [3].
