Summary of Clinical Use |
Cefditoren pivoxil is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections, caused by susceptible strains of bacteria, including acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), acute tonsillitis, acute maxillary sinusitis and uncomplicated skin infections [2]. Cefditoren pivoxil was marketed in the US under the trade name Spectracef®, but has been discontinued. |
