Comment: CIGB-552 is a cell-penetrating peptide that exterts a stabilising effect on the COMM domain-containing 1 (COMMD1) protein [1,3]. COMMD1 is a multi-function protein with involvement in copper homeostasis, sodium transport, and regulation of NF-κB signaling [2].
