Immunopharmacology Comments
LY96 (MD2) is a binding partner of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), required to initiate an innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The signaling complex also contains CD14 co-receptor [1]. LY96 is an important therapeutic target for inflammatory disorders.
General Comments
ChEMBL target CHEMBL3038513 is the complex of human LY96 and Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4).
