Potassium channels: Introduction
Note that whilst the 'Potassium channels' family is listed under 'Voltage-gated ion channels' two of the subfamilies, the Inwardly rectifying potassium channels and Two P domain potassium channels, are NOT voltage-gated. These 4 subfamilies are placed in a single category based on overall function and evolutionary relationships.
