Comment

Stabilin-1 (CLEVER-1) is a 280-KDa multifunctional type-1 transmembrane protein. It is proposed to facilitate immunosuppression in the placenta [3-4] and in the tumour microenvironment [1,5]. Acts as a macrophage checkpoint controlling the M2/M1 switch.
