Malaria Pharmacology Comments
P. falciparum 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase beta (PfPDEbeta) hydrolyses both cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP and is essential during the asexual blood stage of the parasite lifecycle [1].
PfPDEbeta is a target "under consideration" in the Malaria Drug Accelerator (MalDA) portfolio [2].
