Immunopharmacology Comments
CCL16 is expressed in liver, thymus, and spleen. It acts via the G protein-coupled chemokine receptors CCR1, CCR2, CCR5 and CCR8 to attract monocytes and lymphocytes. Monocyte expression of CCL16 is induced by IL-10, IFN-γ and bacterial lipopolysaccharide.
