Summary of Clinical Use
There is no information regarding approval of lenograstim on the US FDA website. This drug may be approved by other national approval agencies. This peptide was developed as a immonostimulatory drug to be used to improve the complete remission rate of older patients receiving chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia [1]. Treatment with the orally-active CXCR2 antagonist AZD5069 has been shown to shown to markedly increase serum G-CSF concentrations in healthy volunteers (NCT01480739) [2] and to also augment sputum expression of G-CSF in patients with more severe asthma (NCT01890148) [3].

Despite this being an endogenous ligand we have been unable to find affinity data for this peptide at the G-CSF receptor (CSF3R). Therefore we have not tagged a primary target for this peptide drug.
